Jon Micah Sumrall is the lead vocalist of the Christian rock band Kutless. Born in Oregon, Sumrall has been a member of Kutless since he started the band in 2001. Kutless combines sincere and plaintive vocals with absorbing, dynamically intense lyrics. Kutless has been topping the Christian charts since the group released its self-titled debut in 2002, and has since released five more studio albums. With the recent release of their worship project “It Is Well”, Kutless has inspired fans across the country with their No. 1 hit “What Faith Can Do.”
